One day, I was queuing up for a ticket. Then came 2 Indonesian Chinese ladies standing beside and looking attentively on the pricing board in front of the counter. I then wondering that will they just jump our queue? To understand clearly what they are trying to do, I just stood in my queue and waited with patience. Just hoping that they will not jump my queue, and if they do, I’ll just give them nicely.
Few persons later, it’s my turn to the counter, and 2 of these ladies just jumped my queue and proceed to the counter as what I guess earlier. An action of inconsiderate gave rise to my anger. While they started a request on the counter, I walked to the counter, patted on their shoulder, starred and said nicely to them: Please queue up!! They were surprise and were looking at me. I then repeated my words and pointed to the crowd of queue. At last, they can only follow the queue in order to purchase their tickets.
At that moment, the aura of inconsiderate got me on fire. I have doubts on people’s inconsiderate, mentality, culture, and education. Did they study Moral? What shaped them to be that inconsiderate? …………..
Why did I take an action like this?
Many times, I think that they should have a lesson of good cultures. Queuing culture is a basic respect to others and it’s a thoughtful act to those who came earlier than you do. In other way, I can say that it is fair to everyone on this ‘first come first serve’ basis.
